Value Added Course on Advanced Instrumentation Techniques for Next Generation Materials

Organised by: Department of Physics in collaboration with the Department of Chemistry, Medicaps University

Closing the semester on a high note, the Department of Physics joined hands with the Department of Chemistry to deliver a five-day Value Added Course on advanced instrumentation techniques for next-generation materials. The course took participants through the working principles and practical use of key characterisation tools — spanning structural, spectroscopic, microscopic, and thermal analysis techniques — that underpin modern materials research. Through expert-led sessions and applied discussions, students and scholars learned not just how these instruments work, but how to read and interpret the data they produce. The collaborative, interdisciplinary format proved to be one of the course's biggest strengths.
