To provide better human resources to the industry in accordance with the rapidly changing technology and to give employment oriented education to the youth, Medicaps University has joined hands with the leading companies of the technology sector. The university has started two new courses by signing MoU with global companies L&T and IBM. Along with the degree in Artificial Intelligence and Multimodal Transportation, the students will also get practical training and certificate in these companies. On Wednesday, two MOUs were signed in front of Vice Chancellor Professor Dilip Kumar Patnaik at Medcaps University located in Rau Indore. The first MOU was signed with L&T for B.Tech Specialization in Multi-Modal Transportation Infrastructure with AI/ML course. The second MOU was signed with IBM for B.Tech Specialization in Advanced Artificial Intelligence. Both the MOUs were signed by the Registrar Professor Panneerselvam Siluvanathan on behalf of the University, while Fabien MF (Head L&T Edutech) signed on behalf of L&T and Hari Ramasubramanian (Leader Business Development & Client Relationship for Education, IBM Innovation Center for Education) signed on behalf of IBM India. B.Tech Specialization in Multi-Modal Transport Infrastructure with AI/ML- This course has been launched by the Civil Engineering Department of Medicaps University in collaboration with Larsen & Toubro (L&T). This course provides engineering students with the knowledge and skills required to design and manage integrated transport systems that link road, rail, air and sea transport. The curriculum includes sustainable transport planning, smart traffic management and AI-driven transportation technology. B.Tech Specialization in Advanced Artificial Intelligence- This new course has been launched by Medcaps University in collaboration with IBM Innovation Centre for Education. The course focuses on modern technologies such as Next Generation AI, Generative AI, Cloud Computing and Logical Language Models (LLM). In this, students will have access to IBM's equipment and hybrid labs and will get practical experience along with a useful certificate as per the requirement of the industry.
