The Faculty of Law, Medicaps University successfully organised its 1st Moot Court Competition from 30th January to 1st February 2026. The competition witnessed exceptional on-ground engagement, with 48 teams participating from institutions across all regions of India, marking a truly pan-India academic platform. The Inaugural Ceremony on 30th January 2026 was graced by Justice (Retd.) Shantanu S. Kemkar, Former Judge of the High Court of Madhya Pradesh and Bombay, as the Chief Guest, along with Manoj Dwivedi, Senior Advocate, High Court of Madhya Pradesh, as Guest of Honour, and Adv. Abhijeet Singh Rathore as the Special Guest. The Preliminary and Quarter Final Rounds were conducted on 31st January 2026, followed by the Semi-Final and Final Rounds on 1st February 2026. The competition was evaluated by an exceptionally distinguished and diverse judging panel comprising more than 50 judges across various rounds, including Senior Advocates and Advocates of the High Court of Madhya Pradesh, Partners and Associates from leading law firms, and eminent academicians—creating an atmosphere reflective of real courtroom adjudication. The Final Rounds and Valedictory Ceremony held on 1st February 2026 were adjudicated and presided over by Ajay Bagadia, Senior Advocate, High Court of Madhya Pradesh; Seema Sharma, Senior Central Government Standing Counsel; and Sudeep Bhargava, Deputy Advocate General, State of Madhya Pradesh. ????
