Dean’s Message
Srinivas Shirur has 30 years of academic and five years of industry experience. He is Dean of Law and Associate Dean of Academics at Medicaps University, Indore. Prior to that , he was Dean of School of Business Studies at Sharda University and prior to that , he was Director and a Senior Professor of Finance and Economics at Galgotias Institute of Management Technology, Greater Noida. A Graduate in Economics(Hons) from Delhi University, he is also M.A in Economics from Osmania University, MBA in Finance from Punjab University and MA in Psychology from IGNOU. He has earned his Ph.D. in Finance from the Department of Business Studies, Jamia Millia Islamia (Central University), New Delhi. He was awarded JRF by the UGC to pursue his doctorate. He has written six books on topics relating to Finance and Economics. Around 50 of his articles have been published in reputed journals. He has been involved with various consultancy projects. He basically specialises in Financial Applications of AI & ML tools with Python, Smart contracts by Solidity for Block Chain Technology, Structural Equation Modelling with AMOS and Financial Econometrics with E-views.
