Plantation Drive 2025
The NSS Unit of Medicaps University, in collaboration with the Department of Agriculture, successfully organized a Plantation Drive on 12th October 2025 at Z Block Medicaps University to promote environmental sustainability. Over 200 NSS volunteers gathered at the university campus, inspired by motivational words from Pro Vice-Chancellor Dr. Brijashish Patnaik and Registrar Dr. P. Siluvainathan. The volunteers then proceeded to Medicaps Z block where the drive was graced by Honourable Vice-Chancellor Sir Dr. D.K. Patnaik. A heartfelt poem on the environment by a volunteer set the tone, followed by a collective pledge to protect the Mother Earth. The plantation activity saw 100 saplings planted, reflecting the spirit of service and responsibility and the presence of Vice Chancellor Sir Dr. DK Patnaik ,Mr. Varun Rathore and Mr. Rohit Grover from Vrikshalaya enriched the event with their guidance and encouragement that greatly inspired the volunteers.
