Generattive AI and its effective Usage in Academics
The Department of Computer Applications, Medicaps University, successfully organized an Expert Lecture on the topic "Generative AI and its Effective Usage in Academics" on July 30, 2025. The session was conducted as part of the department’s ongoing initiative to expose faculty to emerging technologies and their real-world applications. The lecture aimed to provide a comprehensive understanding of generative AI—its core concepts, tools, and transformative potential in the academic domain. The session was held in the Minor Auditorium with expert Prof. (Dr.) Manoj Kumar Rawat. He delivered an insightful presentation covering various aspects of generative AI, including text generation, image synthesis, personalized learning tools, and academic research assistance. The expert also demonstrated real-world applications and ethical considerations associated with using AI tools in education. The event was coordinated by Prof. Akshay Saxena and Prof. Chinmay Arondekar as conveners. The session witnessed enthusiastic participation from faculty members in the departments of CA, CS, CSE, and IT. An interactive Q&A & quiz session followed the lecture, where attendees actively engaged with the expert, seeking clarifications and exploring more profound insights.
