Space Talk 2.0: Origin of the Universe

The Department of Physics, in collaboration with the Astronomy Club, has successfully organized an enlightening event Space Talk 2.0 on “The Origin of the Universe” on 31st October 2025. The event was graced by the presence of Prof. (Dr.) A. A. Koser sir, DoAA, Dean Science & AHSS and Prof. (Dr.) V. Ganesan sir, DoRA. An expert talk was delivered by Dr. Narendra Nath Patra, IIT Indore who shared deep insights on the fascinating topic “Origin of the Universe”, covering concepts of Cosmology, Dark Matter, and Galaxy Formation. A Space Quiz Competition was also organized to make the event more interactive and engaging. More than 120 students from various departments participated in this event. The vote of thanks was delivered by the convener of the event Dr. Priya Singh, expressing gratitude to all dignitaries, guests, and student volunteers for making the event a grand success. Dr Ankit Soni was the co- convener of the event.
