Two days conference on Sustainable development and Environmental challenges in association with IIE
We are delighted to share that the Faculty of Science, Department of Chemistry, at Medicaps University, is hosting two-days All-India workshop on “ Sustainable Development and Environmental Challenges: Integrating Education for a Greener Future ." The inaugural ceremony took place on today August 6, 2025, and was graced by esteemed dignitaries, including chief guest; Mr. Dev Kumar Vasudevan , special guest; Er. Dinesh Shukla and Er. Ramesh Chauhan , The Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor; Prof. (Dr.) Dilip Kumar Patnaik , The Pro Vice-Chancellor; Prof. (Dr.) Birajashis Pattnaik , The Registrar; Mr. Panneerselvam Siluvainathan , DoAA & Dean of Science; Prof. ( Dr.) A. A. Koser, DoSA Dr. Shilpa Tripathi, Respected Deans, CoE, Associate Deans, HoDs, faculty members and participants. During the inauguration, audience was mesmerized by the inspiring thoughtful addresses of Mr. Dev Kumar Vasudevan and Hon’ble VC sir. The convenor of the workshop Prof. Dr. Preeti Jain has explained the workshop insight. In her address, she overwhelmingly underscored the significance and benefits of this workshop. After the inauguration a group photo session and an interactive high-tea session make the workshop even more vibrant. Mr. Dev Kumar Vasudevan gave a wonderful long lecture that inspired our audience regarding the importance of environmental studies and climate change. This session was significantly interacting. Moreover, we are indeed thankful to The Hon’ble Chancellor Sir & OSD to Chancellor, *Mr. Palash Garg Sir , for joining us in the lunch. Their esteemed presence made us extremely proud. Post lunch, we were delighted to have Dean Agriculture Dr. Sunil D. Upadhyaya as a speaker. His intense lecture on two different topics i.e. “ zero carbon emission ” and “ future green funding ” made us learned. After that, a long session on research paper presentation was carried out among the participants. Maj (Dr.) Shailaja Rakibe, Retd . was present as the judge of the session, and it was indeed a tough and healthy competition among the researchers. The research works of the participants are highly commendable.
