Educational visit to Hydroponics Training Centre, Dakachya, Indore The Department of Agriculture organized an educational visit for the sixth-semester students of B.Sc. (Hons) Agriculture. The key objectives of the visit are as follows. To familiarize students with hydroponic farming, a method of cultivating plants without soil, using nutrient-rich water solutions. To understand about critical factors to optimize resource use and promote sustainability. The student visit to the hydroponics training centre was conducted successfully and provided valuable educational insights into modern agricultural practices. Experts in the field guided the students through the practical applications of hydroponics, explaining the critical factors involved, such as nutrient management, water quality, and plant selection.
