Assistant Professor

Ms. Shweta Katarne, Assistant Professor, Dept of Languages, is a passionate educator committed to making learning an enriching and enjoyable experience. After completing BE, she pursued her deep-rooted love for literature with an MA in English and successfully cleared the prestigious UGC NET in June 2021. Currently pursuing Ph. D in Speculative Fiction, she blends intellectual curiosity with innovative teaching methodologies. She has published five insightful research papers, including one in a Scopus-indexed journal, covering topics such as feminist perspectives in speculative fiction, and linguistic patterns in contemporary literature. Her dynamic personality and academic excellence extend beyond the classroom, as she also showcased her eloquence by lending her voice to her university’s Ad broadcasted during IPL 2024, reflecting her versatility in both academia and media.
