He earned his Ph.D. from the Indian Institute of Technology (BHU), Varanasi, and holds an M.Tech in Geotechnical Engineering from IIT Roorkee and a B.Tech in Civil Engineering from NIT Kurukshetra. His research interests include bearing capacity, unsaturated soil behavior, and numerical modelling of geotechnical systems. He has published several papers in reputed international journals.
