Dr. Himanshu Shekhar is currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Medicaps University, Indore, Madhya Pradesh. He received his B.Tech. degree in Electrical Engineering from West Bengal University of Technology, Kolkata, in 2012, an M.E. in Power Engineering from Jadavpur University, Kolkata, in 2015, and the Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Jamshedpur, Jharkhand, in 2022. With more than eight years of academic experience across reputed institutions, Dr. Shekhar has authored a book, holds a design patent, and has published over a dozen research papers in esteemed international journals and conferences, including five in SCI-indexed journals. His research interests span protection of transmission lines during power swings, automatic generation control, power system restructuring, solar photovoltaic systems, and advanced control strategies for power converters in electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure.
